Lisa Carter’s Piano Instruction

Course description

Lisa Carter Music offers fun, interactive, weekly piano instruction comprised of the following:

  • note-reading
  • theory
  • ear training
  • sight-reading
  • improvisation and/or composition

Helping students learn how to improvise–whether making new melodies over existing chord patterns or writing their own compositions–greatly increases music appreciation and the excitement and joy that comes with learning.  With that said, each lesson is tailored to fit the interests and needs of the student, and more emphasis can be placed on the subjects that the student prefers.

Instruction is offered for ages 5 and up.
